SaxonAir is known locally for offering jet and helicopter charter travel alongside its offshore handling facility. Home to a multitude of aircraft and aircraft operators servicing thousands of national and international travellers, visitors are often wowed by what the facility has to offer.
SaxonAir expands its offer this year, launching its bespoke training service. Drawing on their aviation and offshore experience and offering applied learning in an interesting environment, this really is training with a difference.
The courses on offer are open to all, rather than just the aviation industry. These range from a variety of first aid courses, including paediatrics to mental health in the workplace. Having launched in September, a number of courses have already sold out and feedback from delegates has been phenomenal, from 5-star online ratings to testimonials including:
“Jane Simpson is one of the best instructors I have had, complete 10 out of 10.”
This initial offer is just the start for SaxonAir with an exciting program of training planned within the sector as well, to include pilots, flight attendants and aviation on the ground, in addition to its launch first aid and well-being offering.
SaxonAir, whilst focussing on the wide range of non-scheduled aircraft operating through its facility at Norwich Airport, it has widened its local offering across the board over the last few years. Putting its Norwich base on the map as a centre of excellence for the offshore world with tenant’s ranging from gas operators; ONE-Dyas to helicopter operators CHC and NHV along with a host of industry service companies from occupational health through to marketing.
The building’s footfall has increased dramatically as a result of the thriving tenant community and new training courses, providing a dynamic environment. With many visitors astonished by the aircraft and facility itself.
“At the heart of our business strategy is to offer added value wherever we can. Our new training model does just that, we have highly skilled personnel here that can offer huge benefits to the wider community. By opening up our training courses we share not only the knowledge but also the experience of our facilities which we know are truly unique.” – Alex Durand, SaxonAir CEO
